筆者在本文首先確立人類擁有可作他選的自由意志，並指出對這個立場的 批判及其反駁，從而指出決定主義包括加爾文主義並不可取。此外，筆者先後 以中國儒家思想角度和更正教神學角度去解說墮落的人也有軟弱的自由意志。 最後，在普遍恩典之下，罪人可以透過可作他選的自由意志作出殘餘的善，而 在特殊恩典之下，罪人可以透過它去決定跟從基督。

ABSTRACT

The author of this article firstly asserts that human beings have libertarian free will. Later, he points out the critizism against it and how the adherents of libertarian free will respond and refute determinism including Calvinism. Moreover, the author adopts the Confucian and Protestan points of view to argue that even though sinners have weaken libertarian free will. Lastly, he argues that sinners can do residual good works by common grace though libertarin free will. In addition to this, they can decide to follow Christ by special grace through it.
