學人牧者的理想與學術研究在神學教育上的角色/郭鴻標

上帝是真理知識的源頭,亦是宇宙的創造者。上帝的子民被呼召在不同崗位上見證上帝;牧者被呼召裝備信徒發展恩賜,在不同領域事奉上帝。在二十一世紀,牧者除了懂得推動教會事工活動的技巧,更重要的是懂得幫助弟兄姊妹從基督信仰角度詮釋生活經驗。這種服侍是一種在時代潮流文化中進行神學反思的活動。牧者有不同恩賜,筆者集中討論「學人牧者」的課題,文章從四方面入手:第一方面,教會歷史中傑出的「學人牧者」;第二方面,為甚麽華人教會需要「學人牧者」?第三方面,這個時代需要教會神學和公共神學並重的「學人牧者」;第四方面,二十一世紀華人「學人牧者」需要重視的神學課題。筆者提出當代神學教育應該加強公共神學的向度,幫助牧者從基督信仰角度回應世界的挑戰。
ABSTRACT
God is the origin of knowledge and the Creator of the universe.The people of God is being called to witness Him in their positions and the pastors are being called to equire the sisters and brothers to develop their gifts in order to serve God in different areas. In the 21st century, pastors should know not only the technique of running church activities, but also how to interpret the life experience from Christian perspective. This kind of ministry is to reflect theology in the current cultural context. Pastors have different gifts and this writer focus in the topic of “Scholar Pastor.” This article is divided into four parts: Firstly, the outstanding “Scholar Pastor” in church history. Secondly,why the Chinese churches need “Scholar Pastor”? Thirdly, the church theology and public theology should get equal emphasis in this generation. Fourthly, what kind of theological issues the Chinese “Scholar Pastor” need to address?This writer points out that theological education in this generation should put more emphasis in the public theology in order to help the pastors to respond to the challenge of the world.
