歷時不到一年的「非典」大瘟疫像災難般危害中國，但同時它還給人上了一堂生動的課：不是宗教引起了病毒，相反，是失卻了信仰的後果引起了這場傳染病。宗教在保護生態環境和營建人類生活的美好家園方面起了積極的作用。事實上，像伊斯蘭教這樣的宗教在防止病毒傳播方面已經發揮了非常積極的作用。伊斯蘭教為穆斯林社團和民族提供了一種科學而又健康的生活方式。更重要的是，伊斯蘭教和科學同樣能在維護和諧社會中發揮積極的作用。

ABSTRACT

The SARS plague in less than one year endangered China as a catastrophe. However, it drew a livingly lesson for people: it is not religion causing the virus rather it is the consequence of losing faith that caused this disease. Religion has played a positive role in protecting the ecological environment and in building the beautiful garden for human life. Eventually, religion such as Islam has fulfilled a very good function in preventing the disease from further spreading. Islam has provided a scientific and healthy way of life style for Muslim community and its people. The most important is that resembling with science Islam can exercise its positive role in the maintenance of a harmonious society.
