究竟疾病與罪有甚麽關係？本篇文章會檢視近年羅馬天主教、東正教與更正教學者對罪與疾病關係的討論。大部分學者認為疾病不一定是個人犯罪的懲罰；但是人類活在犯罪墮落的境況，一起承受罪的控制。可惜自啟蒙運動後，人選擇以人本精神解釋世界的活動，輕視宗教的位置。在探討疾病與醫治的課題，亦只將人身體的需要視為首要；卻輕視疾病背後的心理及精神因素，特別是基督徒所指的罪。究竟罪如何操控人及人如何獲得醫治呢？究竟醫治只是身體的層面，還是包括心靈的層面呢？究竟我們如何理解有些時候人祈禱獲得醫治，但有些時候人祈禱卻得不到醫治呢？若果每個人都活在罪惡的操縱底下，人的心靈如何獲得醫治呢？本篇文章所關注的課題，就是如何從基督教神學角度理解疾病、罪與心靈醫治的關係。本篇文章分四方面：第一方面是罪與疾病的關係，第二方面是從上帝主權看祈禱得醫治或者不得醫治，第三方面是心靈醫治的課題，第四方面是耶穌基督的醫治使命。

ABSTRACT

How is the relation between illness and sin? This paper is going to review current Roman Catholic, Eastern Orthodoxy and protestant’s discussion about sin and illness. Most scholars think that illness is not necessary the punishment of personal wrongdoings, however all the humankind live under the situation of fall and are living under the control of sinful power. After the Enlightenment,we choose humanistic point of view to interpret the activities in the world, but neglect the role of religion. The study of the issue of the relationship between sin and illness is always prioritized the bodily need, but forgetting the psychological and spiritual factors behind, especially what Christians regard as sin.How does sin control humankind? How could humankind get healed? Does healing has only physical dimension or included spiritual dimension? How could we understand prayer in some cases get response, but sometimes get no answer? If everyone lives under the control of sin, how could our spiritual life get healing? The focus of this paper is to understand the relationship between sin and spiritual healing theologically. This paper is divided into four parts: firstly the relationship between sin and illness. Secondly, from the lordship of God to understand prayer get healing and not being healed. Thirdly, the issue of spiritual healing. Fourly, the healing mission of Jesus Christ.
