撮要

本文探討士來馬赫對基督教神學及宗教學作為大學學術的一部分的見解，並企圖澄清一些對士來馬赫神學的誤解。士來馬赫的神學方法展示了基督教神學與宗教學如何可以互相共融，而基督教神學又如何可以同時是學術性的和教會性的。若華人神學工作者要使基督教神學成為中國學術的一部分，值得參考士來馬赫如何整合基督教神學與宗教學，而又如何結合學術的嚴謹性與對教會的適切性。

ABSTRACT

This paper examines Schleiermacher’s view on Christian theology and religious studies as university disciplines, and clarifies some Chinese theologians’ misunderstandings on Schleiermacher’s thought. Schleiermacher’s theological method demonstrates that Christian theology is compatible with Religious Studies as an academic discipline and that theology can be academic as well as ecclesiastical at the same time. As Chinese theologians attempt to establish the status of Christian theology as an academic discipline in China, they may benefit from learning Schleiermacher’s way of integrating theology with religious studies and of combining academic rigor with ecclesiastical relevancy.
