撮要

聖經的解釋往往是按方法、取向和前設有所不同,而得到不同的結果。近年的聖經研究更鼓吹「權在解釋者」的後現代看法,使教會愈是要從聖經尋求答案,愈是模糊。筆者在此文章希望藉歷史和文法的方法,閱讀有關同性性行為的幾處經文:利未記十八章22節、二十章13節、羅馬書一章24至27節、哥林多前書六章9節和提摩太前書一章8至10節;嘗試對同性性行為的幾個相關的詞彙作一個簡略的探索,並回應李熾昌教授的文章〈從聖經詮釋到同性戀課題之討論〉(堵建偉編:《跨越圍牆、接納差異》〔香港:香港基督徒學會等,2006〕,頁1∼13)。

 

ABSTRACT

The results of the reading of a biblical text vary because of methodologies, orientations and presuppositions. In recent years, the so-called post-modern reading of the Bible and the advocacy of “reader determines the meaning of the text” bring more confusion than clarity to biblical hermeneutics. In this article, the author will try to use the historical-grammatical approach to read texts that concern about homosexuality: Leviticus 18:22, 20:13, Romans 1: 24-27, 1 Corinthians 6:9 and 1 Timothy 1:8-10, and also responds to Prof. Dr. Archee Lee’s article “From biblical hermeneutics to the discussion of homosexuality” in Kin-wai Too ed., The Challenge of Sexual Orientation Legislation to the Hong Kong Christian Community (Hong Kong: Hong Kong Christian Institute, 2006), 1-13.
