本篇文章分為三部分:第一部分是回歸後香港的大環境,第二部分是愛德作為基督教倫理的焦點,第三部分是一種更正教對社會責任的論述。在金融海嘯後,天主教神學家需要討論究竟資本主義、自由市場經濟體系是否出現根本性問題?2009年出版的《在真理中實踐愛德》(Caritas in Veritate)通諭強調經濟乃禮物,對資本主義經濟提出適度批評;卻沒有全盤否定資本主義、自由市場經濟體系。筆者關注的課題是《在真理中實踐愛德》這份教會文獻,如何處理關於「愛」與「正義」的論述,究竟基督教倫理學應該從「愛」還是「正義」開始?筆者亦嘗試提出一種更正教對社會責任的論述,重申經濟乃上帝資源運用的規律,回應教會參與「扶貧」的工作。

 

ABSTRACT

This article is divided into three parts, firstly the macro environment after Hong Kong handover to China, secondly Love as the focus of Christian Ethics, thirdly a Protestant discourse on social responsibility. After the financial crisis in 2007-2008, Catholic theologians discuss whether Capitalism, Free Market System itself have fundamental problem? The Encyclical Letter “Charity in Truth” (Caritas in veritate) 2009 emphasizes economy as gift and criticizes but not turn down the Capitalism and Free market System. This author concerns how “Charity in Truth” deals with the discourses on “Love” and “Justice”? Should Christian Ethics begin with “Love” or “Justice”? This author tries to point out a protestant discourse on social responsibility, emphasizing economy as the norm using God’s resources, responding the Church participating in Poverty alleviation work.
