華北五旬節運動宣教先驅賁德新及其思想／葉先秦
撮要
本文擬探討賁德新這位早期在華北活動的挪威裔美籍宣教士生平及其思想。真耶穌教會創會三傑與賁氏均有往來，對這個萌芽於華北的華人獨立類五旬節教派有一定程度影響。本文就賁德新出版的中文報刊《通傳福音真理報》，與其他二手資料進行對照，嘗試梳理出其生平梗概及思想形成來源，並由其經文引用及詮釋指出其中蘊含的獨一神格五旬節信仰，而真耶穌教會神觀淵源可追溯至賁氏影響，足見賁德新在中國基督教史研究領域的價值。
ABSTRACT
This essay would explore an earlier Norwagien-American Pentecostal Missionary to North China-Bernt Berntsen, who influenced the earliest founders of the True Jesus Church, which is the largest Chinese independent Pentecostal- like church nowadays. The writing would arrange Berntsen’s life and thought by comparing his Chinese periodical The Popular Gospel Truth, with other second hand writings, which then would study his concept of Oneness. Furthermore, those bible passages he cited and related hermeneutic questions will be discussed as well. With the connection between Berntsen and the True Jesus Church’s pioneer, the origin of the latter’s Oneness tendency can be traced clearly.
