在改革開放初期，中國政府對宗教政策進行了調整，以「三自」組織監管基督教，但基督教與三自愛國委員會並未完全融合，也沒有完全受制於宗教政策。本研究特別關注中國溫州地區的基督徒聚會處，他們完成教會的合法登記，並延續長期以來的信仰傳統和組織身分。首先，本文探討了在國家宗教政策框架下，溫州基督徒聚會處在「恢復教產」政策下實現其合法化目標。這一策略促使他們在八十年代重新確立自己的教派身分，還在公開領域獲得更多可見度和發展機會。其次，本文闡述了基督徒聚會處與「召會」之間的對立關係，這種關係促使聚會處進行合法登記、實現教會自給自足以及堅持護教思想等。基督徒聚會處主要關懷的是持守核心信仰和教會路線，卻不是擔心在無神論政權下的生存問題。這些觀察有助於我們認識基督教在中國政治環境下的運作機制，並揭示基督徒聚會處本土化的特徵。

ABSTRACT

This study focuses on Wenzhou, examining Christian “Little Flock” within the changing policy landscape. These venues have effectively reclaimed religious properties and achieved lawful church organization registration, bolstering their legitimacy and societal recognition. These “Little Flock” places also maintain their enduring faith traditions and organizational identities. The research probes how Wenzhou’s Christian “Little Flock” strategically leveraged the property restoration policy within state religious regulations to secure legitimacy. This approach not only reaffirmed their denominational status in the 1980s but also heightened their public visibility. Additionally, the study analyzes the prolonged interaction between Wenzhou’s Christian “Little Flock” and the “Local Church” movement, covering official registration, church self-sufficiency, and protective theological ideologies. Lastly, the research explores how these “Little Flock” prioritize core beliefs during periods of weakened state religious control, rather than excessive survival concerns under atheistic governance. This observation enhances our understanding of Christianity’s dynamics within China’s unique religious-political context, uncovering the factors behind the continued existence of Wenzhou’s Christian “Little Flock”. Overall, the study aims to shed light on “Little Flock” continuity and development under religious policies, revealing their localized characteristics within the broader religious policy context.
