神學知識在西方二元論與中國宇宙論的意義 / 楊慶球

撮要

本文試從東西方對宇宙的不同體驗,探討創生宇宙論在東西哲學及神學的意義。西方近代科學多受牛頓的機械二元宇宙論影響,把物質和時間絕對化,以致創造主被排諸門外;反之,中國傳統哲學雖未受基督教神學影響,卻孕育了創生的宇宙論。雖然沒有創造主的記載,但好像虛位以待創造主,中國這創生宇宙論正與現代科學(愛恩斯坦以後)的宇宙論遙相呼應。

 

ABSTRACT

This paper explores the difference between the Chinese and Western cosmologies. Since Newtonian mechanistic dualism which absolutized matter and time dominated Western cosmology, God the Creator found no place in it. On the other hand, traditional Chinese cosmology points out that the Universe is not self-existent. Although there is no Creator in Chinese philosophy, Chinese cosmology is a “creational cosmology waiting for a Creator.” This creational cosmology is close to contemporary cosmology after Eistein and echoes the Biblical teaching.
